Be Alert

Dear Sons,

I have heard that there is a vicious lion on the prowl, and he has been devouring souls. All of his victims were either asleep or groggy and were outside the gates of the kingdom.


I also have been hearing of a thief on a crime spree, killing, stealing, and destroying the lives of his victims. All his victims were either asleep or under the influence of some mysterious drug that left
them defenseless.


Be on the ALERT! Too many people ignore
what Jesus said, "If the owner of the house had known what time the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into."

Jesus knew that thieves do not provide that info, so the only alternative is to WATCH!


It is a matter of life or death. Choose life - stay awake and alert!

Satan has in fact a plan against the saints of the Most High which is to wear them out. What is meant by this phrase, "wear out"? It has in it the idea of reducing a little this minute, then reducing a little further the next minute. Reduce a little today, reduce a little tomorrow. Thus the wearing out is almost imperceptible; nevertheless, it is a reducing. The wearing down is scarcely an activity of which one is conscious, yet the end result is that there is nothing left. Now, were Satan to strike the children of God with great force at one time, they would know exactly how to resist the enemy since they would immediately recognize his work. I realize that many Christians have not been praying because they have not accepted the reality of war in which we find ourselves. There is a spiritual war mode that we must appropriate. It is an aggressive stance that we take against evil. It is governed by love for people, but it is fearless and uncompromising with the powers of darkness that manipulate people to fulfill evil plans.
