Some of the BEST gifts given to me by my Heavenly Father have been when strength was gone and when my eyes could not see the end. When I began to look for the GRACE, I did not “feel” present, but knew was ABUNDANTLY there.
This is the place where you raise up your weak arms and grab grace. The woman with the issue of blood, grabbed grace, when she pushed through the crowds, and reached out for Jesus garment. A miracle happens in this place of grabbing.
This stretching out and reaching to HIM, is the endurance that exercises HOPE.
It is good that our children learn this young.
Grace is not a feeling,
its a Person to be reached for.
There are seasons when like the dew, GRACE falls, BUT we are more often to find ourselves in situations where more will be required of us. Its these seasons that DEEPER growth happens. Grumbling will give way to a grabbing grace. :)
Like a newborn child, that is totally depended, naturally grabs the fingers of her mother, is the response I desire in grabbing hold of and understanding ALL the Grace, found in HIM, provided for me this day. Oh, what REST is found when we cling to HIM, knowing He will provide all we need.
"Such as do not grow in grace, decay in grace. There is no standing at a stay in religion, either we go forward or backward; if faith does not grow, unbelief will; if heavenly mindedness doth not grow, covetousness will." ~T. Watson
"TRUST ME, and don't be afraid. Many things feel out of control. Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable. Let Me lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances. Take refuge in the shelter of My wings, where you are absolutely secure.
When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new. I lead you on from glory to glory, making you fit for My kingdom. Say yes to the ways I work in your life. Trust Me, and don't be afraid. (Isaiah 12:2; Psalm 61:2-4; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
