Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Ps. 16:11
Fullness of Joy...
Why fullness?
Because those who
hunger and thirst
for God Himself
will only be satisfied
with HIS PRESENCE
and when
HE is our passion,
we will take in every part of
WHO He Is...
It's what David talks about in Ps. 37:3
“Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness.”
Fullness of joy is God's reward for those who diligently seek HIM by faith!
It's a fullness that gives a satisfaction much deeper than anything this world can give. The person satiated with God has need of nothing else upon the earth.
This fullness shows itself in
a contentment with Godliness,
which is great gain.
a contentment with Godliness,
which is great gain.
It need not look around or
wait for the right
conditions or circumstances
to COME,
faith has found
its satisfaction,
IN HIM.
This is the fruit of a yielded life, and one that roots itself deep in the fertile soil of Knowing HIM, not for what He gives, but for Who He is.
Elijah found this contentment.
While others were famishing in the drought unable to get their gods to answer, he was feasting himself upon the Lord, shutting up the heaven through his communion in prayer.
