Bad Company Corrupts

Dear loved ones,

Reflect upon what Jehoshaphat was told by the prophet when he was returning from almost being killed with Ahab. "shall you help a sinner or become friends with someone being detested by the Lord?"

Learn a lesson from this why companions of fools come to ruin.  Choose to walk with the wise.  Evil communication corrupts good men or another way to put it is bad friendship bears bad fruit.

Many a good brother has been ruined by his choice of friends.  A faithful friend will wound you when you are in the wrong - he won't hold back just because you might not like his opinion. Beware the deception of flattery - it is a net that will trap you.

Seek your friends from among those with a sincere heart to please the Lord. They will make mistakes, but when correction comes they will receive it with a grateful heart.

The mark of a fool is that he will not listen to the good advice offered to help him and he tries to stay away from those who disagree with him. David said "Let a righteous man strike me it is a kindness." This type of kindness leads us to repentance and saves us from our own bad decisions.  Have a great and GOOD day!  I will be praying for you.
