Living Color

It's easy to read the Black and White pages of scripture and say, “Amen.”

But truth does not become Living Color, until our Wants surrender their rights to His will.

Surrender is a choice, where we decide whether we will leave the information in the Black and White that we KNOW or embrace the truth into the experience of REAL LIFE.

It's not Romantic any more...well at least not mere fantasy - it will involve real tragedy!

But do I BELIEVE in the REALITY of Truth through Christ, or is it just something I hold as a theory?

We discover that His truth involves real pain whenever He begins to write His words not on tablets of stone or pages of a book, but upon the flesh of our hearts.

His living words bring the pain of death to those areas that we did not know needed to DIE.

If we want to be fully alive, we must suffer pain; we must choose to press through the agony of losing our wants to behold the Living Color of His will.

Life, as it should BE, is full of pain and pleasure; we can't have one without the other.

There is a vision that comforts my own heart, when the Black and White pages lead me to the garden, and I see Him there, sweating drops of blood (in Living color)

Then I remember the writer of Hebrews words...”Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself (reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials), so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds. You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your (own) blood. Heb. 12: 3, 4 Ampl.

"There is no mystery in heaven or earth so great as this; a suffering Deity, an almighty Saviour nailed to a Cross." ~Samuel M. Zwerner
