We rarely will neglect the things we "value" the most. "Wherever a man's treasure is, there will his heart be also." You can tell which person on the block was most aware of the report that there was hidden treasure buried somewhere behind one of the houses - his yard was full of holes he had dug while looking for it.
Many believers claim they are aware of the unsearchable riches in Christ Jesus, but would be hard pressed to explain the pathetic response in the light of such a claim. May our pursuit and discovery of the riches of every grace in Christ Jesus stir all around us to a longing to share in the treasures we are finding. May we become so full of grace that it provokes those around us to love and good works.
