We often put our identity too much in the things we do rather than the Father we serve.
We are His sons and daughters, children of the Heavenly King. If my child acts up, I'm a bad mother. If something burns in the kitchen, I'm an awful cook.
Instead of allowing all these things to point us back to our constant need for HIM, we find our identity in them.
We fail and then we faint. Instead of call out - we fall out.
This is because we have become so earthly focused. Discouragement will inevitably come to the one who is seeking to accomplish anything outside of understanding their relationship with Abba Father!
This mature relationship will spring forth from a settled heart that says, “My Father is working all things together for my good.” Instead of being SELF focused, we will become Faith Focused - with the eyes of our heart fixed upon Him with Whom we are SEATED in heavenly places as we walk in this life.

“If then you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on thethings that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Col. 3:1-3
