The Lord is my Shepherd

The Lord is my Shepherd

I shall not expect anything from my husband, wife or children.
You provide all I need, content with You I am free from disappointment

You lead me in refreshing quiet places, so I can hear your voice, and this restores my soul.  You lead me in paths that reflect how RIGHT your ways are.

Though I walk through the uncertainty of masks, mandates, and misunderstandings, I will not fear evil.  Your presence puts things in perspective.

Your authority and discipline are a comfort to me

Those who may not like me, can't deny the mercies and blessings you set before me. Even in the midst of my limitations, there is liberty.  In your presence is fullness of JOY

I am convinced that Goodness and Mercy will always mark my path, and where YOU are, is where I want to live.

The secret is Christ in me, not me in a different set of circumstances.” ~Elisabeth Elliot

"I have made my limitations tools of learning and true joy."

~Helen Keller

"God is more concerned with conforming me to the likeness of His Son than leaving me in my comfort zones. God is more interested in inward qualities than outward circumstances - things like refining my faith, humbling my heart, cleaning up my thought life and strengthening my character."

~Joni Eareckson Tada
